Accounts Payable Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead daily accounts payable activities, ensuring invoices are reviewed, coded, and processed accurately and on schedule.
• Oversee payment execution through check runs and ACH transactions while maintaining compliance with internal controls.
• Monitor invoice approval workflows and follow up with internal stakeholders to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Reconcile payable records and investigate issues related to vendor balances, missing documentation, or payment exceptions.
• Maintain organized financial records and support reporting related to outstanding invoices, payment status, and cash disbursements.
• Partner with internal teams to improve efficiency in accounts payable procedures and maintain consistent processing standards.
• Assist with month-end close activities by preparing payable-related data and confirming transaction accuracy.
• Serve as a point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving payment questions in a courteous and timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience managing accounts payable operations in a detail-oriented business environment.• Strong working knowledge of invoice coding, payment processing, and accounts payable controls.
• Hands-on experience handling check runs and ACH payments with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to review financial details carefully and identify discrepancies before processing.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and standard business software used for payable tracking and reporting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records in a fast-paced setting.
