Senior Front End / Full Stack Developer (AEM)

Location: Wilmington, DE (2 days onsite)

Alternate Locations: Houston, TX (5 days onsite) or Columbus, OH (5 days onsite)

Overview

Our Client is seeking a Senior Front End / Full Stack Developer to support and enhance a large-scale Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) ecosystem supporting dozens of enterprise websites. This role requires a hands-on developer who can build new functionality, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong AEM development experience, modern JavaScript skills, API integration expertise, and experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise web applications within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Build and enhance AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations
  • Develop responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user experiences
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across multiple websites
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and PM teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into front-end applications
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
  • Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation initiatives
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity and code quality
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers when needed

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of front-end or full-stack development experience
  • Strong Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development expertise
  • Experience with:
  • AEM Components
  • HTL / Sightly
  • Sling Models
  • OSGi
  • Client Libraries (ClientLibs)
  • Templates and Workflows
  • Strong JavaScript (ES6+) development skills
  • Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs
  • Experience using Git-based source control repositories
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex web environments
  • Experience working in Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development experience
  • Bitbucket experience
  • Apache web server configuration experience
  • CI/CD and deployment automation experience
  • React, Angular, or Next.js experience
  • Accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design expertise
  • Enterprise-scale website support experience
  • Financial services experience

Compensation

$41.00-$45.00 Hourly
