Medical Payment Poster Specialist

We are looking for Medical Payment Poster Specialist in Middlesex County, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for medical payment posting, insurance billing, claims, and more. If you are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you! 

Responsibilities:

• Post and reconcile insurance and patient payments to patient accounts in a timely manner.

• Review payment details and account information to support timely and accurate posting functions.

• Work across Medicare and Medicaid billing portals to verify coverage, claims activity, and reimbursement details.

• Assist with claim follow-up and account resolution to help reduce billing delays and outstanding balances.

• Maintain organized documentation and support compliance with medical billing procedures and payer guidelines.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies related to claims, payments, and insurance information.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in medical billing role is required.

• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing websites and payer processes.

• Experience entering and maintaining patient and insurance information with a high level of accuracy.

• Familiarity with medical claims, collections, and coding support within a healthcare setting.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

• Self-motivated approach with a proactive mindset and dependable follow-through.
