Office Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to provide administrative support during the summer months. This position will work closely with our Administrative Assistant and assist with office operations, file management, document preparation, and data entry activities. The ideal candidate is reliable, confidential, and comfortable working with electronic records and sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Administrative Assistant with daily administrative tasks.
- Retrieve and pull files from electronic records (ER) systems.
- Download, organize, and maintain electronic files and records.
- Convert and manage documents in various formats, including PDF and Microsoft Word.
- Perform accurate data entry into state reporting and database systems.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure records are up to date.
- Assist with document management and administrative projects as assigned.
- Follow confidentiality and privacy guidelines when handling sensitive information
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a non-profit organization.
- Familiarity with electronic records or document management systems.
Top 3 Must-Have Qualifications
- Administrative support experience.
- Experience working within HIPAA and/or FERPA guidelines.
- Non-profit experience preferred.

Work Schedule
- Temporary summer position.
- Approximately 2 days per week, on-site.
- Flexible scheduling may be available based on business needs.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in an office support, clerical, or administrative position.• Proficiency in data entry with strong accuracy in both numeric and text-based input.
• Experience scanning, organizing, and managing electronic and paper documents.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PDF files, and standard computer systems.
• Ability to maintain organized records and manage multiple files efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documentation procedures consistently.
• Comfortable providing general back-office support in a fast-paced administrative setting.
Compensation
