Epicor Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Epicor Engineer to support enterprise ERP initiatives. This role partners with technical leaders and business stakeholders to improve system performance, expand functionality, and deliver practical solutions that support daily operations. The ideal candidate brings deep Epicor expertise, strong project execution skills, and the ability to balance hands-on technical work with end-user support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate multiple ERP-focused initiatives, ensuring Epicor-related projects are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Epicor functionality using appropriate development, reporting, and administrative tools to support operational needs.
• Provide day-to-day assistance to users by resolving system issues, answering questions, and helping teams work more effectively within the platform.
• Support the implementation and ongoing development of Epicor in an Azure-based environment as part of broader enterprise technology efforts.
• Design and improve methods for users to retrieve, analyze, and use business data efficiently across departments.
• Monitor application stability and performance, taking proactive steps to strengthen reliability and reduce disruption.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical and functional problems affecting Epicor processes across multiple business units.
• Deliver user training and create clear standard operating procedures to promote consistent system usage and adoption
Qualifications:
• Advanced knowledge of the Epicor application across core business areas, including sales, operations, and finance.• Experience working with Epicor configurators and applying them to support business-specific process requirements.
• Practical understanding of server environments, application servers, and task agents related to Epicor administration.
• Familiarity with DocStar, reporting tools, and document or data management capabilities within the Epicor ecosystem.
• Strong technical knowledge in areas such as scripting, integrations, configuration management, or related ERP development practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage implementation work from solution design through deployment and post-launch support.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate successfully with both onsite and remote stakeholders.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and a proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and supporting business users.
Compensation
