Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a fast-paced team in Portland, Maine. This Contract position is focused on connecting with clients updating their information and providing responsive service throughout the process. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, organized in follow-up, and able to keep communication moving efficiently in an onsite environment.

Responsibilities:

• Contact clients by phone to request and collect updated information needed for deadlines.

• Place outbound calls and manage inbound inquiries with a detail-focused, service-oriented approach.

• Leave clear voicemail messages and follow up consistently to keep submissions on track.

• Enter and update order-related information accurately in internal records.

• Communicate with clients to confirm details, answer questions, and resolve basic issues promptly.

• Monitor outstanding artwork requests and escalate urgent delays when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or a phone-based support role.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and handling inbound conversations.
• Ability to write and deliver clear, accurate voicemail and follow-up messages.
• Strong data entry or order entry skills with close attention to accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and a clear, courteous phone manner.
• Able to work onsite in Portland, Maine.
• Availability to complete a short-term contract assignment.

Compensation

$18.00-$19.00 Hourly
