IT & Headcount Financial Analyst

New York, NY 10017, US Remote Temporary
Compensation: $45 to $55 Hourly

We are looking for an FP& A Analyst to join a nationally recognized mental health organization in a fully remote capacity. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a finance specialist who enjoys turning complex expense data into clear, actionable insights for leadership. The role will focus on expense monitoring, headcount-related analysis, and reporting support while partnering with stakeholders across the organization to strengthen financial visibility and decision-making.


Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate operating expenses, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas that require further financial review.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to collect, validate, and organize financial data tied to project-related spending and workforce costs.

• Track headcount expenses and support analysis that improves understanding of labor-related financial performance.

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports that translate financial results into meaningful business insights for leadership teams.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support short- and long-range financial planning activities.

• Support expense accrual processes and help maintain accurate financial records for reporting periods.

• Consolidate data from multiple sources into structured Excel-based models and reporting tools.

• Contribute financial support related to large-scale organizational implementation efforts as needed.


Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build, maintain, and analyze detailed financial models and reports.
• Strong background in expense analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Experience working with headcount planning, HR-related budgets, or labor expense tracking.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data with accuracy and consistency.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial findings clearly to business partners and leadership.
• Ability to gather information from multiple stakeholders and convert it into organized, actionable analysis.

Compensation

$45.00-$55.00 Hourly
