Accounts Payable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle for a high-volume invoice environment, from receipt through final processing.
• Review and assign proper coding to invoices to ensure accurate entry and alignment with accounting records.
• Process vendor invoices in a timely manner while maintaining strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Prepare and complete check runs according to payment schedules and internal approval requirements.
• Monitor outstanding payables and help keep account records organized and up to date.
• Respond to incoming calls professionally and route inquiries to the appropriate team members as needed.
• Support daily accounting activities by maintaining consistent documentation and payment processing standards.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing.• Ability to manage a large volume of invoices efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.
• Experience preparing check runs and working within established payment timelines.
• Familiarity with Sage Timberline software.
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
• Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to handle and redirect phone calls.
• Availability to work onsite for the duration of this contract assignment.
Compensation
