Our client is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist for a contract opportunity in San Carlos, CA. What You'll Do

  • Greet visitors, clients, and vendors with professionalism while creating a positive and welcoming front office experience.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, accurately taking messages and responding to general inquiries.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, receipt processing, document preparation, and other clerical tasks.
  • Coordinate appointments, schedule meetings, and assist with calendar management for team members as needed.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems to ensure accurate and efficient recordkeeping.
  • Provide front desk coverage throughout the day, assisting walk-in visitors and supporting office operations during slower periods.
  • Assist visitors with reception-related questions and help ensure a positive customer experience in public-facing areas.
  • Support the office team with additional administrative projects and general office duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of receptionist, front desk, customer service, or related administrative experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with visitors and internal staff.
  • Experience using a multi-line phone system and managing incoming calls efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for daily administrative tasks and email correspondence.
  • Accurate data entry skills and the ability to keep files, records, and schedules well organized.
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills in a detail-oriented office setting.
  • Ability to work onsite and present a neat business casual appearanc

Compensation

$23.75-$25.00 Hourly
