Human Resources (HR) Manager (Laurie P)

Alpharetta, GA 30005, US Full Time
Compensation: $120 to $140 Yearly

Robert Half HR Solutions is partnering with a growing client in the Alpharetta area seeking an HR Manager to serve as the sole HR professional supporting 60+ employees across multiple states, including remote employees.


Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Serve as the primary HR advisor to employees and leadership.
  • Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Coach managers on performance management, development, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Drive a high-performance culture through effective performance management practices.
  • Support succession planning and employee development initiatives.

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for corporate and operational positions.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and hiring decisions.
  • Facilitate interviewing, offer negotiations, and onboarding.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Lead employee engagement, retention, recognition, and wellness initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Conduct employee surveys and develop action plans based on feedback.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer employee benefits programs and annual open enrollment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with benefit providers.
  • Support compensation analysis, salary administration, and incentive programs.

HR Compliance & Operations

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, handbooks, and employee records.
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and exit interviews.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead HR process improvements and support change management initiatives.

Strategic HR & Organizational Growth

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration planning, employee communications, and workforce transitions.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to leadership on strategic HR initiatives.

  • Experience supporting multi-state and remote workforces.
  • Proven success building and improving HR programs in a growing organization.
  • Ability to work independently as the sole HR professional.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.



Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR Business Partner responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting employees across multiple states.
  • Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition efforts.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage all HR functions within a growing organization.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous experience supporting remote employees

Preferred

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting a high-growth or rapidly scaling organization.
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and organizational integration initiatives.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience utilizing HR metrics to drive business



Compensation

$120,000.00-$140,000.00 Yearly
