Receptionist
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff or department in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Operate a multi-line phone system to handle incoming calls, transfer callers, and take accurate messages when needed.
• Maintain a tidy and well-organized reception area that reflects a positive image of the organization.
• Provide general administrative support such as basic data entry, filing, and distributing correspondence.
• Respond to routine inquiries from callers and guests while escalating more complex matters to the right team members.
• Coordinate front desk activities to ensure smooth day-to-day communication and office flow.
• Support part-time reception coverage needs by managing assigned hours reliably and consistently.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience performing front desk or receptionist responsibilities in an office setting.• Ability to manage inbound calls using a switchboard or multi-line phone system with confidence and accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Comfortable handling several tasks at once while remaining organized and attentive to detail.
• Dependable availability for a part-time schedule.
• Basic administrative skills, including message taking, filing, and routine office support.
Compensation
