Litigation Legal Secretary

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a highly regarded boutique litigation firm in Century City in its search for a Litigation Legal Secretary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial, well-respected firm known for its strong reputation in the legal community, supportive culture, and exceptional staff tenure.

The firm’s practice areas include commercial litigation and probate, and they are seeking a polished, proactive legal secretary to support a 3:1 desk, including a junior partner. This role offers the chance to work with a smart, friendly, and collaborative team in a fully on-site environment.

Location: Century City, CA

Schedule: On-site, 5 days per week

Employment Type: Contract with strong possibility of permanent hire based on fit and performance

Pay Rate: $35-$42/hour during the contract period

Conversion Salary: $85,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide litigation support to a team of three attorneys, including a junior partner
• Prepare, format, revise, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, and other case-related filings
• Draft shells and assist with document preparation for filings and case management
• Handle state and federal court e-filing
• Manage attorney calendars, including court dates, deadlines, hearings, and related litigation deadlines
• Prepare Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents
• Coordinate and provide general administrative support, including correspondence, scheduling, and file management
• Assist with additional legal secretarial and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary in a law firm environment
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures
• Proficiency with calendaring litigation deadlines
• Experience preparing TOA/TOC, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative office setting
