Technical Writer
Responsibilities:
• Produce and publish multiple engineering-focused blog articles each week while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Partner with engineers, architects, and technology leaders to gather insights and develop well-informed content.
• Convert complex subjects such as platform design, scalability, and data-driven systems into content that resonates with both technical and business readers.
• Establish a reliable editorial rhythm and contribute to content calendars, topic development, and publishing priorities.
• Showcase engineering decisions, technical breakthroughs, and practical problem-solving through compelling written narratives.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, editorial standards, and audience expectations for clear, effective technical communication.
• Manage several writing assignments at once and deliver high-quality work within demanding timelines.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience creating technical, engineering, or developer-focused written content for specialized audiences.• A portfolio of published articles or blog posts that reflects strong writing quality and audience engagement.
• Ability to absorb unfamiliar technical concepts quickly and explain them in a clear, structured manner.
• Experience working directly with software engineers, product teams, or other technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with topics such as software engineering, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, AI/ML, or scalable digital systems.
• Exposure to e-commerce, retail technology, marketplaces, or consumer digital products is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in technical writing practices and familiarity with tools or standards such as Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe RoboHelp, or AP Style is a plus.
Compensation
