Client Services Specialist

We are looking for a Client Services Specialist to support individuals seeking legal assistance in Miami, Florida. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who brings strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a service-focused approach to client support within a services environment. In this role, you will guide applicants through the intake process, connect them with appropriate resources, and contribute to community-based outreach efforts while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct client interviews to gather relevant background information and assess service needs.
• Evaluate applicants for program eligibility using established guidelines and accurate documentation practices.
• Direct individuals to internal or external resources when services fall outside available support options.
• Share general guidance and self-help materials with applicants to help them better understand available next steps.
• Participate in community clinics and outreach events hosted by the organization.
• Complete intake activities at off-site locations as assigned to expand access to services.
• Record client interactions and case details accurately within the case management system.
• Respond to client communications appropriately while safeguarding sensitive information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• At least 1 year of experience in client intake, legal support, community outreach, or a related service-based role.

• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with applicants while handling confidential information appropriately.

• Experience assessing client needs, determining eligibility, and making suitable referrals.

• Comfort using case management platforms and general workplace technology; familiarity with Legal Server is preferred.

• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to follow direction in a collaborative environment.

• Reliable work history with consistent attendance and punctuality.

• Spanish a required.

Compensation

$18.05-$19.00 Hourly
