Administrative Assistant

San Diego, CA 92121, US Temporary
Compensation: $23 to $26 Hourly

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and provide administrative support to a collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, multitasking, and contributing to a fast-paced, professional work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and possesses strong communication and organizational skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to managers and department staff.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Order and manage office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and database maintenance.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports when required.
  • Support onboarding activities and assist with special projects.
  • Perform general office duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years of administrative or office support experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ERP software, or other office management tools.
  • Experience supporting multiple departments or managers.

Compensation

$23.00-$26.00 Hourly
