Data Entry Clerk
Our client, a respected nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the community, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, maintaining accuracy, and supporting an organization whose mission makes a difference. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of managing high volumes of information while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain information in internal databases and systems.
- Verify data for completeness and accuracy, correcting errors as needed.
- Review documents and records to ensure data integrity.
- Organize, scan, and electronically file documents.
- Assist with processing forms, applications, donations, and other organizational records.
- Generate reports and assist with data tracking for various departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive donor, client, and organizational information.
- Respond to internal requests for data and documentation.
- Support administrative projects and provide general office assistance as needed.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of data entry, administrative, or clerical experience preferred.
- Strong typing skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working with databases or CRM systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization.
- Familiarity with donor management or fundraising databases is a plus.
- Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Compensation
