Description of Duties:

Position Title: Multi-Disciplinary Engineer

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance Type: DoW Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility

Shift: Day shift

Travel Required: Travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 15% of the time.

Description of Duties:

The Multi-Disciplinary Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Process and submit IRES change processes, including CRQs and an understanding of the Aspen and Remedy applications.

• Assist in maintaining Ultra High Frequency (UHF) satellite radios in operations and communication security (COMSEC) management.

• Maintain, prioritize and deconflict a testing schedule of multiple external mission partners and manage and conduct scheduled data archive of large quantity of recorded event data.

• Participate in Combatant Command Health Checks, providing technical assistance for improving warfighter operations in support to their missile warning operations.

The successful candidate will:

• Be able to work independently as well as in team environments to solve complex problems with minimal supervision across a wide variety of customer environments.

• Have excellent communication skills with experience briefing senior customers and management.

• Must be able to successfully communicate and multitask in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications - External

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 12, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience

o May be reduced with completion of advanced education

• Must have 6, or more, years of directly related experience in an engineering field

• Must have 6, or more, months of experience working in a management or leadership role

• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite

• Must have knowledge in installation, configuration, maintaining and updating the Global Command and Control System, servers and client software

• Must have a working knowledge of the missile warning and missile defense specific mission architecture, system software, hardware and associated satellite radios

• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA, etc.)

• Must have an active DoW Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Requirements:

• Be able to understand networking design, demonstrated understanding of performance planning, implementing, deconflicting and managing of information technology (IT) and infrastructure projects.

This position is expected to pay $144,806 – $160,049 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
