Industrial Mechanical Technician I
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect assemblies for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments and make adjustments to ensure proper fit and function
- Use precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify that parts conform to specified tolerances.
- Perform complex mechanical assembly and system integration Act as subject matter expert for mechanical systems and processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues or product defects, making necessary adjustments to components or processes to resolve them.
- Lead training programs and skill development.
- Delegate work and coordinate technician resources.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support basic business KPI understanding.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Work Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years experience in mechanical assembly
Compensation Information:
$21.50 - $22.50/hr
