Operations Specialist

We are looking for a proactive Operations Specialist to support workforce coordination and strengthen day-to-day operational performance for medical service environments in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who excels at building productive relationships, anticipating staffing needs, and helping client sites maintain consistent coverage. The person in this role will work closely with site leaders to improve scheduling outcomes, support talent retention, and contribute to ongoing operational enhancements.

Responsibilities:
• Develop strong working relationships with candidates and healthcare site leaders to support dependable staffing operations.
• Coordinate schedules well ahead of need to reduce coverage gaps and limit urgent last-minute adjustments.
• Expand and maintain a reliable pool of flexible talent to support ongoing workforce demands and improve retention.
• Partner with assigned client managers to monitor staffing effectiveness and address operational challenges proactively.
• Track performance trends and identify opportunities to improve service delivery across supported locations.
• Lead day-to-day operational follow-up to help teams perform efficiently and meet client expectations.
• Support change initiatives within assigned functional areas and encourage continuous improvement in staffing processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting operations, workforce coordination, staffing, or client service functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong scheduling and organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities effectively.
• Working knowledge of performance-driven environments and familiarity with service metrics or call center metrics.
• Background exposure to regulated or high-volume industries such as consumer banking, consumer lending, credit card services, or healthcare is helpful.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess business impact and prioritize critical needs.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach.

Compensation

$23.00-$25.00 Hourly
