Real Estate Attorney
Our client, a well-established law firm in Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking a Real Estate Attorney. This role is suited for an attorney who can manage sophisticated real estate matters with a high degree of independence while working closely with clients and colleagues on a range of commercial transactions. The position offers the opportunity to handle deals from initial structuring through closing across acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development-related matters.
Role: Real Estate Attorney
Location: Boston, MA
Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Handling commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions.
- Representing borrowers and lenders in real estate financing transactions.
- Drafting and reviewing transactional documents.
- Managing condominium formation matters.
- Assisting clients with permitting and land use issues.
- Negotiating and drafting commercial leases, including retail, office, and industrial leasing.
- Providing practical legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
- 3 or more years of experience in commercial real estate law.
- Ability to independently manage transactions and multiple matters simultaneously.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to a collegial team environment.
Compensation
