Member Services Rep
We are looking for a detail-oriented Member Services Rep to support a high-volume insurance environment. This contract opportunity with potential for a long-term role is ideal for someone who stays organized, maintains accuracy under pressure, and provides dependable service while managing frequent interruptions. The person in this role will handle member-related inquiries and administrative tasks with a strong focus on efficient data entry and consistent follow-through.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to member questions and service requests in a timely, detail-focused manner across phone, email, and other office communication channels.
• Enter and update member information with a high level of speed and accuracy while working in a busy setting.
• Manage multiple incoming requests at once and shift priorities smoothly when urgent matters arise.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records through routine filing, document handling, and copying tasks.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and email tools to prepare correspondence, track information, and support daily operations.
• Review data for completeness and accuracy before submitting updates or processing member-related documentation.
• Support the team with general administrative duties that help keep member service workflows efficient and responsive.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service, member support, or a similar administrative role.• Strong data entry skills with the ability to type approximately 6,000 to 8,000 keystrokes per hour.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and standard office software.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal interactions.
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in document management and recordkeeping.
• Experience with common office functions such as filing, copying, and email correspondence.
Compensation
