Lending Operations Coordinator
Our client, a respected financial institution in Albuquerque, is seeking a Lending Operations Coordinator to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Lending Officer on a six-month contract. This role is responsible for coordinating policy updates and document management, preparing reports, managing accounts payable and budgets, scheduling meetings and events, conducting research, and providing day-to-day operational support that keeps the lending division running efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office, and has previous experience supporting executives or operations within a banking, lending, or financial services environment. This is a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. opportunity paying $28-$30/hour.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in administrative, operational, or coordinator-level support within banking, lending, or financial services.• Working knowledge of business lending or commercial lending operations and related documentation practices.
• Experience handling accounts payable tasks, including entering vendor invoices and tracking payment-related information.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage schedules, reporting deadlines, and multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with lending policies, lending authority guidelines, or document control processes is preferred.
• Experience with Encompass or similar lending systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an office setting.
