Client Services Financial Manager
Robert Half is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization seeking a Client Services Financial Manager to oversee financial management services for clients and support trust and estate accounting activities. This position combines financial stewardship, client advocacy, and fiduciary support to help ensure the financial well-being of individuals and families served by the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client financial resources, including banking relationships, cash management, bill payment, budgeting, and account monitoring.
- Oversee trust and estate accounting activities, maintaining accurate records, reconciliations, and documentation in compliance with fiduciary and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial reports, accountings, and supporting schedules for clients, trustees, beneficiaries, courts, and other stakeholders as required.
- Coordinate with attorneys, financial advisors, family members, social service providers, and banking institutions regarding client financial matters.
- Monitor client income, expenses, benefits, investments, and assets to ensure appropriate utilization of funds and long-term financial stability.
- Reconcile bank, trust, and investment accounts while researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed client records, financial files, and supporting documentation while safeguarding confidential information.
- Assist with estate administration activities, including asset tracking, disbursements, financial reporting, and compliance-related requirements.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, fiduciary standards, nonprofit regulations, and applicable state and federal guidelines.
- Provide exceptional client service while supporting vulnerable populations with professionalism, empathy, and financial expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in fiduciary services, trust administration, estate accounting, family office operations, wealth management, nonprofit financial services, or related fields.
- Experience managing client funds, trust accounts, conservatorships, estates, or other fiduciary relationships strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, account reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting software systems.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients, families, attorneys, financial institutions, and community partners.
Compensation
