HR Coordinator

Compensation: $21.85 to $25.30 Hourly

We are looking for a dependable HR Coordinator to join our team on a Contract basis. This position supports daily human resources operations by coordinating administrative tasks, assisting employees and visitors, and helping maintain accurate personnel records. It is a strong opportunity for someone early in their HR career who is eager to build experience in a collaborative, service-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily distribution of incoming mail and route materials to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
• Support onboarding for new employees by preparing documentation, assembling welcome materials, and assisting the HR Generalist with pre-employment and start-date activities.
• Handle sensitive employee documents with discretion while helping maintain organized and accurate personnel records.
• Assist with records management projects by scanning, indexing, and maintaining electronic employee files for easy retrieval and compliance support.
• Welcome employees and visitors, provide directions, notify staff of arrivals, and help manage secure office entry.
• Capture employee photos for onboarding and assist with setting up employee information within HR and administrative records.
• Use tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, HRIS platforms, fax machines, and scanners to complete day-to-day HR support tasks.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team, including support related to background checks, compliance activities, and other department needs.

Qualifications:

• Prior exposure to HR administration, onboarding coordination, or office support work is preferred.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism, sound judgment, and a high level of integrity.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to identify errors and keep records accurate.
• Dependable work habits, punctuality, and the ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-focused and approachable communication style with a strong internal customer service mindset.
• Comfort using Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, HRIS systems, and standard office equipment such as scanners and fax machines.
• Understanding of HR compliance practices and employment documentation processes is an advantage.
• Entry-level candidates or those seeking to grow a career in human resources are encouraged to apply.
