Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations in Franklin Square, New York. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, managing core bookkeeping activities, and helping ensure timely processing of payables and receivables. The ideal candidate brings strong QuickBooks experience, a solid understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping, and working knowledge of Applied TAM or Applied Epic.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee complete bookkeeping functions, including maintaining financial records and keeping accounts current and accurate.
• Process vendor invoices, issue payments on schedule, and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable activity.
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices, record incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances within accounts receivable.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to verify transactions and identify variances promptly.
• Use QuickBooks to record daily financial activity, generate reports, and support organized accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support month-end closing tasks with reliable financial data.
• Work within Applied or Applied Epic as needed to manage accounting-related information and support operational workflows.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience handling full charge bookkeeping responsibilities in a detail-focused business environment.• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting and reporting tasks.
• Hands-on experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and on a consistent basis.
• Familiarity with Applied or Applied Epic is required for success in this position.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when working with financial information.
Compensation
