Technical Project Coordinator

Support day-of-job project coordination activities for business service installations, upgrades, professional services engagements, and remediation projects. This role serves as the primary operational liaison between field technicians, project teams, dispatch, vendors, management, and customers to ensure successful execution of scheduled service events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable providing real-time operational support while meeting strict service-level and KPI requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-of-service activities from technician dispatch through completion and work order release.
- Conduct pre-dispatch readiness reviews and confirmation calls with field technicians to verify arrival times, scope understanding, material availability, site access requirements, and technical preparedness.
- Provide real-time operational support to field technicians during installation and service activities.
- Monitor installation progress against project milestones, implementation timelines, and customer commitments.
- Track project status and provide hourly updates within designated project management and operational systems, including Smartsheet and ILEX.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communications between field personnel, customers, management, project teams, dispatch, and vendors.
- Escalate operational issues, schedule impacts, and change requests through established processes for timely resolution.
- Validate completion of project deliverables, including documentation, testing results, photographs, and supporting records.
- Ensure required project documentation is reviewed, approved, and uploaded to designated systems within established timelines.
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery logistics, including accurate purchase order creation in accordance with procurement policies.
- Support field service operations while ensuring adherence to established processes, schedules, and quality standards.
- Meet productivity, documentation accuracy, customer satisfaction, and other KPI objectives.

- Experience coordinating projects, field service operations, installations, or service delivery activities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technicians, customers, vendors, management, and project teams.
- Experience tracking project milestones, timelines, status updates, and deliverables.
- Experience with project tracking and operational systems, including Smartsheet, ILEX, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with accurate documentation management.
- Ability to identify, communicate, and escalate operational issues appropriately.
- Experience supporting material procurement, logistics coordination, and purchase order processes.
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends, and maintain consistent attendance while working 40 hours per week.
Compensation
