HR Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Administer bi-weekly payroll processing, verify employee pay data, and help ensure payroll is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate workstation, computer, and equipment arrangements for new hires so employees are set up for a smooth start.
• Assist with wage garnishment administration by preparing documentation, tracking updates, and partnering with accounting when needed.
• Provide support for onboarding activities, including employee records maintenance and completion of required HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate information within HRIS platforms and update personnel data in a timely manner.
• Respond to routine HR-related questions from employees while handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Contribute to general human resources administration, including filing, audit support, and other operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting payroll and human resources administration in a detail-oriented office environment.• Working knowledge of HRIS systems and the ability to maintain accurate employee data.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes and employee records administration.
• Understanding of employee relations practices and confidential HR support responsibilities.
• Experience working with payroll schedules, including bi-weekly or semi-monthly processing environments.
• Exposure to HIPAA-regulated settings and the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Rippling software or comparable HR and payroll platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in a non-union environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
