Property Administrator

Chantilly, VA 20152, US Temporary
Compensation: $21 to $24 Hourly

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Administrator to support the daily operations of a commercial and/or residential property portfolio. The Property Administrator will provide administrative, financial, and tenant support services to ensure efficient property management operations and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. This position is onsite Monday to Friday.


Responsibilities


  • Provide administrative support to the Property Manager and property management team.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and visitors.
  • Prepare and maintain tenant files, lease documentation, and property records.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
  • Track rent payments, prepare reports, and assist with accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries, service requests, and maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure work orders are completed.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases within property management systems.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports, budgets, and operating expense reconciliations.
  • Schedule property inspections, meetings, and vendor services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, lease agreements, and applicable regulations.
  • Support special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Property Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in property management, real estate, or facilities management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience handling invoices or accounts-related administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience in property management or commercial property administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or PRISM software is a plus.




Compensation

$21.00-$24.00 Hourly
