Position Description
Charts encounters between physicians or other practitioners and patients in real time and organizes health care data to maximize efficiency and productivity of clinical care in real time during medical exams. Complies with specific standards that apply to the style of medical records and to the legal and ethical requirements for preparing medical documents and for keeping patient information confidential. Complies with HIPAA confidentiality standards when accessing or communicating patient information.

This position will primarily be responsible for the following:
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience OR science related education.

Major/Essential Functions
This position will primarily be responsible for the following:
- Assisting the physician with the physical examination of patients
- Assisting the physician with scribing medical encounters with patients
- Assisting the physician with managing the message box and organizing the workload accordingly
- Assisting the provider in creating a working process that maximizes efficiency during clinical rotations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience OR science related education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience within a dermatology clinic, preferably academic
- Previous medical scribing experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
