Senior Contracts Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead the review, revision, negotiation, and administration of a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, procurement, and service-related contracts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related risk assessment, offering clear guidance to internal stakeholders on legal and business terms.
• Monitor key contractual milestones such as renewal dates, performance obligations, notice periods, and compliance commitments to reduce operational risk.
• Support adherence to applicable government contracting requirements and help maintain contract practices that align with regulated industry standards.
• Build and organize a centralized repository for agreements and related records to improve accessibility, consistency, and oversight.
• Create and refine contract lifecycle procedures, including intake methods, approval paths, documentation standards, and reporting practices.
• Prepare, update, and maintain corporate records and legal documentation in support of governance and entity management activities.
• Assist with due diligence efforts, transactional projects, and other corporate legal matters, including support for mergers and acquisitions when needed.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on legal operations initiatives and broader business matters that require contract or governance support.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, corporate paralegal work, or a related legal function.• Demonstrated ability to review, mark up, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements across multiple business areas.
• Familiarity with government contracting requirements and the ability to work within regulated compliance frameworks.
• Experience developing or improving contract workflows, operational processes, or management systems.
• Strong ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and exercise sound judgment with limited supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Background in corporate governance, due diligence, contract database implementation, or work within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, or other regulated industries is preferred.
