Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis, within a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct price variance analyses to support financial decision-making.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger with precision.
• Manage sales tax and corporate tax return processes in compliance with regulations.
• Analyze and reconcile financial statements to maintain accuracy and transparency.
• Utilize Infor M3 and Opera systems to manage accounting processes effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting.
• Assist in internal audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in using Infor M3 and Opera systems is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.
• Knowledge of sales tax and corporate tax return processes.
• Ability to reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and bank statements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation

$26.13-$30.25 Hourly
