Bookkeeper

We are seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper to help a team that is significantly behind and needs immediate support getting caught up. This role requires a strong foundation in basic bookkeeping, including a clear understanding of debits and credits, along with proven proficiency in QuickBooks Pro (required). The ideal candidate will have experience preparing financial statements and a solid understanding of SAS 25 standards, with the ability to confidently work within and manage the system. This is a fast-paced, catch-up-focused role for someone who can step in quickly, bring structure, and help get the books back on track.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of core accounting principles, including debits and credits.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Pro is required, with the ability to manage daily bookkeeping activities confidently.
• Experience processing payroll and maintaining accurate payroll-related records.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and supporting financial reports with a high degree of accuracy.
• Familiarity with ORG 25 standards and the ability to work within that framework effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify, investigate, and correct accounting discrepancies.
• Comfortable stepping into a catch-up environment and handling a high volume of work with minimal ramp-up time.
