Human Resources Administrator
We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to support leave of absence operations for a manufacturing organization in Canton, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position will oversee end-to-end leave administration, coordinate with employees and site contacts across multiple facilities, and help ensure accurate, timely handling of leave cases and benefits-related matters. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, comfort with HR systems and Microsoft tools. Must have practical experience managing leave programs.
Responsibilities:
• Administer the complete leave of absence process from initial request through case resolution, maintaining accuracy and compliance throughout each stage.
• Act as the primary point of contact for leave-related matters across 13 facilities, providing guidance to employees, managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate documentation, status updates, and follow-up activities with The Standard to support efficient handling of leave cases.
• Review leave requests and related records to help ensure alignment with company policy, benefit programs, and applicable leave regulations such as FMLA.
• Partner with HR and benefits teams to address employee questions, clarify eligibility, and support a positive leave experience.
• Track leave activity, maintain organized records, and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and other HR tools.
• Communicate clearly through Microsoft Teams, email, and direct conversations to keep stakeholders informed of timelines, requirements, and next steps.
• Support leave administration within a manufacturing environment by balancing responsiveness, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
• Direct involvement in leave of absence management.
• Hands-on knowledge of leave programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes and employee benefit coordination.
• Experience working with benefits functions and responding to employee questions related to leave and benefit programs.
• Strong technical proficiency with HR systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple locations.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain accurate, detailed records.
• Prior experience supporting HR processes in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
Compensation
