Senior Tax Accountant (Onsite)

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a boutique public accounting firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and client advisory-related projects while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial and compliance-related documentation.
• Prepare and review a variety of tax returns while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Assist with tax planning, projections, and other financial analyses.
• Provide accounting and advisory support to a diverse client base.
• Analyze financial information and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
• Assist with planning, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Research and resolve accounting and regulatory matters.
• Support client and stakeholder communications as needed.
• Participate in financial reporting and related projects.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to established processes and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or related experience to include tax returns and compliance for part of that timeframe
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation

$85,000.00-$125,000.00 Yearly
