Payroll Analyst

We're seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable analyzing large datasets, and has excellent communication skills.

You will support payroll-related projects, system implementations, data validation, and process improvements while partnering with HR, Payroll, IT, and client teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate large payroll and HR datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support payroll system implementations, upgrades, testing, and data conversions.
• Research, identify, and resolve payroll discrepancies through data analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, HR departments, IT teams, and external vendors throughout project lifecycles.
• Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
• Provide end-user support and training during implementation projects.
• Create reports in Excel and present findings to project stakeholders.
• Maintain project timelines while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data validation, reporting).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred (Not Required):

• Payroll and/or Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting software or ERP/HCM implementations.
• Exposure to payroll systems such as Workday, UKG, ADP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar HCM platforms.
• Experience with data migration, testing, or system configuration.
