Office Manager
Responsibilities:
• Welcome students, visitors, and other guests to the Admissions office and provide courteous, attentive assistance upon arrival.
• Answer questions, direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members, and ensure messages are communicated accurately and promptly.
• Assist with student intake activities by gathering information and helping visitors navigate initial administrative steps.
• Manage front desk operations throughout the day to maintain an organized, efficient, and well-run office environment.
• Complete clerical support tasks such as copying, scanning, filing, and preparing routine documents for departmental use.
• Partner with department leadership to support ongoing administrative priorities and special requests.
• Monitor office supply levels and coordinate replenishment to keep the department stocked for daily operations.
• Uphold a welcoming and attentive presence in all interactions while supporting the overall workflow of the Admissions office.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in reception, office administration, or a similar customer-facing support role.• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a positive experience for students, visitors, and staff.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to handle routine front desk responsibilities with professionalism.
• Good judgment and critical thinking skills to respond appropriately to questions and everyday office situations.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with attention to accuracy and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word.
• Ability to remain stationed at the front desk for most of the workday while managing multiple tasks consistently.
Compensation
