Position
Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to support our personal
injury practice by obtaining, organizing, reviewing, and maintaining medical
records and billing documentation for client cases. This role is critical to
ensuring attorneys and case managers have accurate and complete records to
effectively advocate for clients.
Key
Responsibilities
Request,
track, and obtain medical records and billing statements from healthcare
providers.
Review
records for completeness and follow up on outstanding requests.
Organize,
scan, upload, and maintain medical documentation in the firm's case
management system.
Maintain
records request logs.
Communicate
professionally with medical providers, clients, insurance companies, and
paralegals, attorneys.
Assist
attorneys and case managers with medical documentation needed for
settlement demands and litigation.
Qualifications
Prior
experience in medical records, healthcare administration, legal support,
or personal injury law preferred.
Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability
to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency
with Microsoft Office and case management software.
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in file management, medical records, legal support, healthcare administration, or a related field.• Demonstrated ability to manage paper filing, file box organization, document scanning, and electronic filing processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and protect confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using document management or case management software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external contacts.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, stay organized under deadlines, and follow up consistently on outstanding requests.
Compensation
$55,000.00-$60,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
