Logistics Clerk

We are looking for a dependable Logistics Clerk to support pharmaceutical fulfillment operations on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on work, and can maintain accuracy while handling shipping and order-processing tasks. The role involves a combination of product handling, packaging, receiving, and basic computer-based documentation to help ensure medications are prepared and distributed correctly.

Responsibilities:

• Process inbound and outbound pharmaceutical shipments with close attention to accuracy and handling standards.

• Assemble shipping materials and prepare parcels so products are ready for timely distribution.

• Pack medications securely, including temperature-sensitive items that require refrigerated or ice-based packaging.

• Review and enter order information into company systems to support smooth fulfillment activities.

• Receive delivered inventory and place medications in the appropriate storage or shelving locations.

• Support daily mailing activities for prescription products while following established procedures.

• Use computers for routine record updates, data entry, and order tracking tasks.

• Remain active throughout the shift while moving between packing, receiving, and fulfillment areas.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand and move for most of the workday in a warehouse or fulfillment setting.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail when handling, labeling, and packaging pharmaceutical products.
• Capability to follow shipping, receiving, and storage procedures with consistency and care.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Customer service awareness and a dependable, team-oriented approach to daily work.
• Experience with systems such as IBM AS/400 or similar management platforms is helpful but not required.

Compensation

$19.50-$19.50 Hourly
