Technical Help Desk I (US)
Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries related to pricing, warranty coverage, and equipment parts with accurate and timely information.
• Provide frontline technical support by troubleshooting issues and guiding users toward effective solutions.
• Partner with product marketing, research and development, and commercialization teams to share technical insight within assigned subject areas.
• Work closely with Level 2 support teams to coordinate the resolution of escalated cases and ensure proper follow-through.
• Track service activity, maintain support records, and contribute to reporting that measures team performance and service trends.
• Use internal systems and office tools to document requests, review data, and support daily help desk operations.
• Balance multiple service needs at once while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach.
• Contribute to team goals by supporting operational priorities and helping maintain consistent service standards.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.• At least 1-2 years of technical support, help desk, or related experience.
• Foundational understanding of PLCs, electrical components, and industrial mechanical systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead clear, confident conversations.
• Solid organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience working with spreadsheets to review and interpret data.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and meet minimum age requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable technical experience is preferred.
