Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in St. Rose, Louisiana. This contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing front-desk interaction with clerical and data-focused work in an office setting. The role offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule totaling 32 to 40 hours per week and involves providing dependable administrative support across billing, documentation, and reception activities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage front desk coverage by welcoming visitors, answering inbound calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare and support billing-related administrative tasks with accuracy and timely follow-through.
• Enter, update, and maintain information in office records and administrative systems.
• Copy, scan, organize, and upload documents to ensure files are complete and easy to access.
• Label, sort, and file paperwork to maintain an orderly and efficient records system.
• Provide general administrative support for day-to-day office operations and team needs.
• Coordinate routine document handling and clerical tasks while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, or general office support role.• Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable handling inbound calls and interacting professionally with clients, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to manage filing, scanning, copying, and document organization tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a front-office environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and remain organized throughout the workday.
• Availability to work a flexible Monday through Friday schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.
Compensation
