Payroll Administrator

Compensation: $70 to $75 Yearly

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support payroll operations and core human resources administration in Laurel, Maryland. This position combines accurate, multi-state payroll processing with employee records management, onboarding coordination, and benefits support. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound knowledge of compliance practices, and hands-on experience working with ADP Workforce Now.


Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule for a workforce of 500+ employees.

• Coordinate onboarding activities by preparing employment documentation, completing onboarding paperwork, and helping new team members transition into the organization.

• Maintain accurate employee records for status changes such as new employee additions, terminations, transfers, promotions, and leaves within the HR management system.

• Respond to employee and candidate questions regarding compensation, benefits, schedules, job expectations, and workplace policies.

• Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, updates, and employee communications related to available plans.

• Organize and facilitate orientation sessions for new employees to ensure they receive essential workplace information and required documentation.

• Update and manage HR documents including handbooks, organizational charts, directories, and performance-related forms.

• Handle day-to-day administrative support tasks such as maintaining personnel files, processing forms, and keeping confidential information current


Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll in a multi-state environment.

• Hands-on proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.

• Working knowledge of payroll practices, employee records administration, and related HR processes.

• Familiarity with employment compliance requirements, including equal employment and affirmative action guidelines.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage sensitive information accurately and confidentially.

• Clear communication skills for assisting employees, applicants, and internal stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and ability to complete payroll and administrative tasks within required deadlines


Compensation

$70,000.00-$75,000.00 Yearly
