Graphic Designer - Senior
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of visually compelling marketing materials for both digital and print platforms, ensuring each deliverable supports campaign objectives and business goals.
• Partner with marketing managers, copywriters, project managers, proofing teams, and production specialists to move medium- to high-complexity creative projects from concept through final delivery.
• Apply and uphold brand standards across all stages of design, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and quality throughout reviews and revisions.
• Provide day-to-day creative guidance and mentorship to other graphic designers, helping elevate design quality and team effectiveness.
• Plan and execute photo shoots with limited oversight, and refine imagery or create original artwork to strengthen promotional storytelling.
• Collaborate with project management to gather, clarify, and share project details needed to keep assignments on track and aligned to creative briefs.
• Review prepress files and production-ready documents to confirm technical accuracy, print readiness, and compliance with design specifications.
• Work closely with print production partners to support proper file preparation, effective design execution, and successful final output.
• Monitor emerging design directions, tools, and industry practices, incorporating relevant trends and technologies into creative work where appropriate.
• Organize and prepare final electronic files for archiving and future reference while supporting other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field, or equivalent experience in graphic design.• 2–4 years of graphic design experience, including 2–4 years in a corporate B2B environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong command of layout, typography, image preparation, and core visual design principles.
• Experience managing creative projects and producing direct marketing or advertising materials from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of four-color printing processes and best practices for preparing files for production.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work successfully across multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement with on-site presence in Mendota Heights, Minnesota two days per week.
Compensation
