HR Business Partner
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support a growing manufacturing organization in Anoka, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a strategic, detail-oriented HR partner who can align people practices with business goals while fostering a strong, accountable workplace culture. In this role, you will work closely with leaders and employees to strengthen talent outcomes, guide organizational effectiveness, and deliver practical HR solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance that supports growth, workforce planning, and operational priorities.
• Use workforce data and business insights to advise client groups on people decisions that improve performance and organizational results.
• Lead consistent execution of core HR programs, including performance management, hiring support, employee relations, and career development initiatives.
• Coach managers and employees on workplace issues, team effectiveness, accountability, and application of HR policies and practices.
• Identify opportunities to enhance leadership capability, employee engagement, and organizational culture through targeted HR initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships across assigned teams to address employee concerns and advise on organizational matters with sound judgment.
• Collaborate with specialized HR partners such as payroll, compensation, and benefits to deliver coordinated solutions for business needs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and process personnel updates within Workday to support data integrity and reporting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.• 10+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple functional areas, including at least some exposure to a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to independently support business leaders and employee groups while applying HR best practices and compliance knowledge.
• Strong background in employee relations, HR policy interpretation, and workplace investigations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, train, and resolve sensitive issues effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, follow through on commitments, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable working in a changing environment and adjusting quickly to evolving business needs.
• Experience using Workday and supporting HR administration with a high level of accuracy.
Compensation
