Medical Front Desk Coordinator
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients warmly upon arrival and guide them through both registration and departure processes.
• Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments to help maintain an efficient daily patient flow.
• Enter, review, and update insurance details to support accurate billing and coverage verification.
• Collect copayments and document front-desk financial transactions with accuracy.
• Answer incoming calls, address routine questions, and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Prepare materials and information needed for the day’s visits to keep the office running smoothly.
• Retrieve and organize patient charts and related records as needed for appointments.
• Record, reconcile, and calculate daily charges to support front-office financial accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Ability to manage multiple front-desk tasks in a fast-moving medical office environment.• Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through on administrative duties.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a commitment to supporting a small team.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach to service.
• Comfort using scheduling systems, entering insurance information, and handling payments.
• Willingness to learn medical office procedures; prior experience in a healthcare front office is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with patient scheduling, reception duties, and basic medical terminology is preferred.
Compensation
