Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Middlesex County, NJ. In this role you will be responsible for accounts receivable, collecting payments, posting payments, billing, and more. If you are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts receivable transactions, including generating and distributing invoices.
• Handle billing activities and ensure timely issuance of AR invoices to customers.
• Address customer inquiries and provide assistance with billing and payment-related concerns.
• Support invoice processing to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the accounting supervisor to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with general data entry tasks related to financial transactions.
• Maintain organized documentation for financial processes and transactions.
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting concepts, including the difference between credits and debits.
• Experience updating customer account records and posting payments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for maintaining logs and tracking financial activity.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external parties.
Compensation
