Customer Service Representative

Robert Half Permanent Placement is partnering with a great company in Buffalo, NY on their search for a Customer Service Representative to join their thriving business. This is an in-office role with a starting wage of $18 - $23 per hour based on experience and includes a full benefits package. The ideal candidate will bring a customer service mindset side by side with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

• Deliver exceptional customer service by handling inbound calls, emails, and customer inquiries while providing accurate product information and resolving issues with professionalism and empathy
• Process customer orders received by phone, email, fax, and online, ensuring accuracy, timely completion, and compliance with customer-specific requirements
• Partner with the sales team to support customer accounts, coordinate order fulfillment, and provide responsive service throughout the order lifecycle
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge through ongoing training to confidently recommend solutions and assist customers, including a large senior customer base
• Manage catalog requests, returns, and customer documentation while maintaining accurate records and supporting daily administrative operations
• Utilize Microsoft Office and internal business systems to efficiently manage customer interactions, order processing, and data entry in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required, with 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and proficiency using Microsoft Office and business software
• Experience serving senior customers or working in a healthcare, accessibility, or related customer-focused environment is preferred

Compensation

$37,440.00-$47,840.00 Yearly
