Legal Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and submit court documents through electronic filing systems while ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedural requirements.
• Coordinate attorney calendars by tracking hearings, filing deadlines, meetings, and other case-related commitments.
• Arrange meetings, court dates, and other legal appointments, confirming all scheduling details with internal and external parties.
• Provide day-to-day support to attorneys handling commercial litigation matters, including document organization and matter coordination.
• Maintain case files and litigation records so materials are current, accessible, and properly documented.
• Assist with court filings and related legal paperwork by following deadlines, formatting standards, and jurisdictional rules.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a legal assistant role with exposure to litigation support activities.• Working knowledge of electronic filing processes and court filing procedures.
• Familiarity with civil or commercial litigation environments and related documentation.
• Strong calendar management and scheduling skills with close attention to deadlines.
• Excellent organizational abilities and a high level of accuracy when handling legal documents.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with attorneys, courts, and other parties.
Compensation
