Financial Analyst - Hybrid
Our client, a growing and innovative organization, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its collaborative Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional looking to broaden their FP& A experience while partnering with leaders across the business to support strategic decision-making.
This hybrid position requires working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the Boston office.
What You'll Do
As a Financial Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the organization's financial planning and business performance by:
- Building financial models and performing scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Preparing financial reports, dashboards, and KPI analysis for leadership.
- Conducting variance analysis and identifying trends that drive business performance.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives and provide financial insights.
- Supporting process improvements and helping automate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in a Corporate Financial Analyst or FP& A role.
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience.
- Working knowledge of GAAP, including journal entries, accruals, and revenue recognition.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, Conditional Formatting, and Charts.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains (GP), NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
- Experience within education, publishing, or another corporate environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to business leaders.
