Talent Acquisition Coordinator

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support hiring efforts for a Contract position based in Arlington, Virginia. In this role, you will help create a smooth and detail-oriented experience for candidates while keeping recruitment activities organized and on schedule. The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of experience in talent acquisition and is comfortable managing coordination tasks across multiple stages of the hiring process.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate incoming resumes and carry out initial candidate screenings to identify talent with relevant experience.
• Serve as a point of contact for applicants, providing timely updates and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
• Arrange pre-employment steps, including background verification and collection of onboarding documentation.
• Keep applicant tracking systems and hiring records accurate, current, and well organized.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to support efficient scheduling and movement of candidates through the pipeline.
• Assist with sourcing efforts and employer branding activities to help attract strong candidates.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or a related hiring support role.
• Working knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes and candidate management practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining accurate data within applicant tracking systems and recruitment records.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with talent sourcing, corporate recruiting, and candidate engagement best practices.

Compensation

$22.80-$26.40 Hourly
