HR Manager
Responsibilities:
• Partner with plant leadership to provide practical HR guidance on workforce planning, employee matters, and organizational priorities.
• Direct the daily execution of site HR activities, including hiring support, onboarding, benefits coordination, performance processes, and policy administration.
• Lead and develop the local HR team, creating a responsive and collaborative environment focused on service, accountability, and results.
• Advise managers and employees on workplace policies, employment practices, and applicable federal and state labor requirements.
• Handle employee relations concerns, conduct workplace investigations, recommend next steps, and support documentation for corrective action when needed.
• Prepare and maintain recurring HR metrics, compliance records, and operational reports to support business decisions and reporting needs.
• Drive programs that improve retention, engagement, and overall employee experience across the manufacturing site.
• Partner with internal support teams on training initiatives, special projects, and improvements that increase the effectiveness and accuracy of HR operations.
• Coordinate employee communications and site events that reinforce company priorities, strengthen morale, and support a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership responsibility in a manufacturing environment.• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits support.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and the ability to apply them in daily HR decision-making.
• Experience using HRIS platforms, with familiarity in ADP Enterprise preferred.
• Strong ability to coach leaders, manage sensitive issues, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Proven experience leading investigations, supporting performance management, and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Ability to analyze HR data, track key performance indicators, and recommend practical process improvements.
Compensation
